本機在玻璃制品生產線上，位于推瓶機與退火爐之間，用于退火爐前玻璃制品的相向橫向輸送，與推瓶機配合將兩臺制瓶機生產的玻璃制品及時、穩定地送往退火爐。該機采用齒鏈式輸送帶，無級變速機調速，其結構先進合理，具有運行穩定、不跑偏、不打滑、調速范圍大、使用壽命長等特點，而且使用維修方便，有明顯的節能效果。
